If this nerf affected you greatly, Alarm bells should be going off in your head. I have about 5 very good assasin builds for PvP, all killed the enemy in a matter of seconds; all have different elites, only one has shadow prison. Say anything to you? Learn to make your own builds..just go back to the drawing board, and spend 20 minutes on the isle of balthazar. Good players spends a few min there testing builds instead of just using the most pop build out there.

You better get used to it. I just make my builds dinamically, depending on what I think I'm going to find, instead of using the same all over and over.
someone beat me to it. But that's what I've been saying for the past couple years.

I rather they assess everything every month as they usually do than once a year. Common is a good thing.

Hey, I am happy! Ele's got buffed and skills like Rodgorts Invocation can be used effectively in PvP now.

Honestly, the "nerfs" are nice because while everyone may bitch and moan about it at first, it at least changes things up. Shadow Prison was getting ridiculously annoying. People use skills like Shadow Prison because they're very effective. Nerfs make people begin to rethink their builds once more and use some other ridiculously overused skill for some good amount of time.

Recently I heavily invested in the tissue industry because many skills in GWEN do exactly the things that people want nerfed all the time.

I hate when people say something is overused and say it should be nerfed because of that. Or a build becomes popular that is easily counterable, but people would rather have ANET simplify the game, than counter it.

Just as surely as FoTM builds will change, so will Anet nerf and buff. It's part of the meta game. Live with it.

Yes. Those were the days. One of my first characters was a minion Necro. After they nerfed Verata's Sacrifice and placed a minion cap, I stopped playing my Necro. I kept that Necro for a long time hoping that I'd find a build that I found fun for that character, but I never did. I ended up deleting her right after I got her second year mini pet. It's a shame really.

Soul reaping still works fine. Price of Failure is still viable. As are assasins, perhaps you should actually understand a class before you play it, and stop QQ'ing whenever something gets nerfed.

You're overreacting. Builds are nerfed because they're broken, or they want to shift the game in a different direction.

Wait, you mean an overpowered build was nerfed and you couldn't stand being balanced for the first time?

That makes me sad, just a tiny bit.;-;

I still have my necro. I'd never get rid of her. She was my second character, first being.. another necromancer.

I created the newer one and deleted the old as the old one had gone down the blood magic line and this was during the refund point era so.. yeah. T_T

Welcome to guild wars!
To the happy lands of balance, shielding the poor casual players, lovely nerf.
AS the devolopers of the game, A-Nerf we suggest you to play brainlessly but dont gain anything. Do RA-TA-HA play brainlessly BUT IF YOU DARE GAINING FROM IT AS GOLD THAT ONCE DONE BY FARMERS YOU WILL BE NERFED AS OUR COMPANY NAMED AFTER. We are brainless grinders FRIENS AS LONG AS YOU DONT GAIN ANYTHIN. DARE GAINING FROM A BRAINLESS GRIND AND YOU AND YOUR BUILD OF BUILD WARS WILL BE SMASHED, SQUIZED, AND NERFED.

Dude guild wars isnt the same guild wars when prophs released where we soloed UW with 55hps. The game isnt the choice for people like you and me I quited now play WoW at least it IS FRIENLY WITH PEOPLE DONT GAIN FROM BRAINLESS GRIND AND PEOPLE WHO GAIN FROM BRAINLESS GRIND.

Never ever think wow is bad as it cost monthly fee cause if you buy every expansion of GW it wil cos nearly same AND WHATS BETTER wow constanly gets updated with high instances nearly every week and month.

''You Fail'' is used on pretty much any Forum.

Guild Wars is DIFFERENT then WoW, if you want Guild Wars to be like WoW then you could aswell go play WoW and leave the actual Guild Wars player alone.

People chose to play Guild Wars because they like it, some people don't like it anymore because of changes, so whats the point of that? Your not being forced to play, just change to another game.

I got pist when Soul Reaping was nerfed. Not because of the unlimited energy, but the failure to adjust skill costs accordingly. There are still some 25 energy skills that are no longer really viable unless you go ele secondary.

Minion nerf did not mind really personally as we got more powerful ones. Besides, blood of the master and vert spam was so boring. Still play my necro here and there, but he is really boring to play. Useful to have to nail the bosses.

Trust me...I won't. The constant nerfing is why I left GW after two years, I finally got fed up with it. When the Ferrari I bought gradually became a Yugo, it was time to go for me.

So how do mesmers and monks deal with their 25 energy skills (monks especially)?
